Had the privilege to solo-travel to a remote village in rural Thailand and spend a week helping a small local family business grow, getting involved in their sustainable living project, partaking in tasks such as agriculture, hut building and forest clean-up.
Worked and spent my days with kind fellow volunteers from all ages and backgrounds and locals from the village, cooperating in all sorts of tasks, getting to know each other better, and sharing stories about our vastly different ways of life.
Immersed myself in their Lan Na culture first-hand and deeply cherished its appreciation for the environment, self-sustainability and spiritual connection.
